Retreat Cost: Program fee is $550 per person. Room cost varies by room type, meal package is $85 per person.

Join a community of health professionals who embrace the value of self-care to sustain a caring presence and greater longevity in their practice. This multidisciplinary retreat is open to Nurses, Social Workers, and other Clinical Professionals. Experience renewal in the community with other health professionals. The unique focus is empowering you to be proactive in your well-being and touching on what brought you to your practice.

At this retreat, you will:

• Learn relaxation techniques to support your wellbeing
• Explore mindfulness as a therapeutic technique for yourself and your patients
• Practice self-compassion as the foundation of self-care
• Develop generous listening skills for effective communication
• Reconnect to the passion and meaning of your work
• Experience movement, creative arts, poetry, and journaling in a beautiful environment that promotes reflection, resilience, and renewal
• Qualified participants will receive 13 Nurse Contact Hours upon completion

The Sacred Waters Center is on the scenic shores of Hood Canal in Union, Washington, and offers a peaceful environment surrounded by lush forests and breathtaking water views. Here is a link to the retreat location: The Sacred Waters Center.

When registering, you have the option to add an early arrival on March 20. Check-in will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Please note that no meals are provided for early arrivals. Accommodations:  

  • Bedding and towels are provided.
  • You will be able to choose your room type when registering, please note that the pictures may not reflect the exact room you will stay in.
  • Some rooms have the option to add additional attendees, this will add their program cost and meal package. You will be asked to give their name and email address, they will receive an email with a link to complete their registration.

Meals:

  • All meals are included with your registration.
  • Accommodations can be made for gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian only. Other food preferences or specialized diets cannot be accommodated; however, a fridge and microwave are available.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations 60 days or more before the event can receive a full refund – less 10% for payment processing fees and program administration.   Cancellations 59-16 days before the event can receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 15 days before the event are non-refundable. The program registration can be transferred to another person at any time.
