Navigating Cancer & Grief
With Denise Carrico, Chaplain, BFA, Certified Integral Yoga Teacher
January 15 - 29, 2025
This compassionate virtual cancer workshop is designed for individuals who are navigating grief and loss due to cancer, whether they are patients, survivors, caregivers, or loved ones.
Led by experienced facilitator, and chaplain, Denise Carrico, this group offers a safe, nurturing space to explore feelings of sadness, anger, confusion, and even hope, in the wake of loss due to cancer diagnosis, treatment, or bereavement. Through shared stories, mindfulness exercises, poetry, and supportive discussion, participants will connect with others who understand the cancer journey, find healing resources, and build a sense of community toward renewal and resilience.
Denise will share meaningful coping resources to facilitate wholehearted healing. As with all our multi-session offerings, you are strongly encouraged to participate from day one and plan on attending all three sessions, Wednesdays 6-7:30 PM PST, for three weeks in January (15, 22, & 29). All sessions will be offered via Zoom. If you cannot attend the first session, you can still join in starting on the second session.
(Please Note: Denise reserves the right to be able to request to adjust the planned schedule due to unanticipated timing conflicts. Any changes will be negotiated well in advance with the agreement of all affected participants.)
